Installation Done Properly
Most AC problems in Jamaica trace back to a rushed installation. Lines that were not vacuumed, brackets fixed into weak block, drain lines run with no fall, or a condenser boxed in where it cannot breathe.
We size the unit to the room, position the condenser where it gets airflow and stays out of the worst of the salt air, pressure test and vacuum the lines before charging, and run the condensate away properly so you are not mopping up in six months.
Servicing and Maintenance
A standard service covers a full clean of the filters, blower wheel and evaporator coil, a wash of the condenser, a drain line flush, a check of operating pressures and temperatures, and an electrical inspection of the contactor and capacitor.
For homes we recommend servicing every six months. For offices, shops, restaurants and anywhere with a unit running all day, every three to four months is more realistic. We can put you on a scheduled contract so you never have to remember.
Repairs and Diagnosis
If your unit has stopped cooling, the honest answer is that it could be a JMD 3,000 capacitor or a failed compressor. We diagnose first and tell you which it is, along with whether repair or replacement makes better financial sense for the age of the unit. We will not sell you a new system you did not need.
Common Questions
How often should I service my AC in Jamaica?
Every six months for a typical home unit. Every three to four months if it runs most of the day, if you are near the coast where salt air attacks the condenser, or if anyone in the household has asthma or allergies.
My AC just needs gas — can you top it up?
We can, but a sealed system does not consume refrigerant. If it is low, it has leaked, and topping up without finding the leak means you will be calling us again in a few months. We locate and repair the leak first, then recharge.
Do you supply the units or must I buy my own?
Either way. We can source and supply the unit as part of the quote, or install a unit you have purchased yourself. Supplied units come with the manufacturer's warranty.
Do you install the electrical supply for a new AC?
Yes — our electrical team runs the dedicated circuit and breaker as part of the same job, so you are not coordinating two separate contractors.
